As we conclude Week 4 of demolition, nearly 80% of the old Wheeling Inn has been removed. This progress has revealed an unobstructed view of the Historic Suspension Bridge for Wheeling residents, a sight unseen in over 50 years.Raze remains on schedule, and debris removal from the site has begun. Rubble from the original structure is being transported offsite for processing and will eventually be repurposed as infill. Community members should be aware of intermittent heavy truck traffic entering and exiting the area. Raze has flagging crews on-site to manage traffic flow and ensure safety, so please be patient as they work to prevent any incidents.
